Ideas, ideas, ideas. That is what this stage is all about, and for architects, it is the easiest part of our service to describe the benefits, to you. Some projects may need no more than the initial ideas and for others it can be the beginning of a fruitful relationship and we will generate these ideas with you, sketching live on screen.

We advise having two meetings for this stage;

Initial Design Meeting

• Our online booking process will enable you to upload any useful documents you already have (photos, plans, sales brochure, previous designs you have commissioned) prior to the meeting.

• We will assist you with putting together a comprehensive design brief to ensure that all important items are being considered and that the project starts off on the right foot.

• We will advise on the timeline of your project and get some key target dates for getting started on construction.

• We have the tools to share our screen with you and draw live in the meeting, as we discuss initial design solutions for your home.

• We will help you set up the Project Budget Calculator, using our template, which will help project and plan all costs associated with your project.

• We will advise you on next steps and commissioning a measured survey of the property, if required to produce more comprehensive design drawings (see follow up meeting below). 

Follow up design meeting

• If suitable for your project, we advise having a follow up design meeting.

• Using measured survey drawings sent to us by you, we can develop more detailed design proposals to discuss t this meeting.

• We will review the design proposals with you on screen and sketch live to suggest any further amendments.
